An outstanding academician is the author of more printed works, 17 monographs, 14 scientific aids, inventions.
Bondar Grigory Vasilievich was marked by many state and international awards confirming his significant contribution to domestic and world medical science. The success of Grigory Vasilyevich as an excellent scientist, responsible organizer of healthcare, a talented leader consists in sincere love of medicine and his own business, which, of course, was reflected in painstaking and attentive work in many areas.
With his own example, Grigory Vasilievich inspired his colleagues to find a solution to burning medical problems.
Grigory Vasilievich Bondar paid considerable attention to the education of the young generation of doctors, providing comprehensive support to students practicing doctors, as his teachers did at one time. Under the sensitive guidance of an outstanding scientist, 16 works were protected for the degree of Doctor of Sciences, and 18 - degrees of candidates of science. With complete confidence, we can say that the professor became the founder of the whole school of oncology.
And finally, another aspect of the academician was in educational work: Grigory Vasilievich actively defended the position of preserving and strengthening health, focused on both patients and colleagues that it was easier to prevent the development of pathology than to treat the diseases themselves and their consequences [2]. Interestingly, the academician repeatedly repeated the words about the value of the Earth for a person, about the need to use natural foods in order to care about health.
The scientist said that this is, in particular, individual cancer prevention. Grigory Vasilievich conducted annually near operations, actively engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of oncological pathology. His attention was focused on both medical work and scientific, pedagogical, social activity. The last 25 years of life, the academician has been devoted to solving several medical problems.

The general radiation reaction applies to changes in the work of organs and systems, various functional disorders that appear in patients with a wide range of symptoms: from weakness and headaches to changes in physiological indicators, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia.
Often, vegetative-vascular reactions are distinguished, which pass independently in weeks. With a high strength of symptoms and the presence of necessity, the attending physician prescribes a certain type of therapy to the patient. Local radiation damage is the reaction of the body at the place of irradiation. Early radiation complications include reactions that occur in the next 3 months after the course of radiation therapy.
Late distant consequences relate to manifestations that arose later than the specified period, often after a few years. Distant genetic consequences can occur when exposed to human reproductive organs. The academician was actively working to prevent the development of complications in patients to increase the effectiveness of therapy and improve the rehabilitation process.
Bondar Grigory Vasilievich passed away, however, the memory of him is always alive, because the specialists of the Republican Oncology Center named after Professor G. Bondar honor scientific traditions founded by a world -famous scientist. Currently, 5th year students of our university are trained at the department during the series “Oncology, Radiation therapy”.
The department carefully and sensitively refers to the memory of its founder, immortalized in the monument in the territory of the Republican Oncology Center. The work of the Rot is focused on the provision of quality medical care, the introduction of modern methods of therapeutic and surgical treatment of patients with high efficiency, innovative decisions thanks to the foundation, which was laid for future generations Grigory Vasilievich Bondar.
It is impossible to challenge the significant contribution of the academician to world medicine and medicine of Donbass, because the outstanding professor became the founder of the oncology school in our region. His personal qualities, humanity, professionalism, multi -vector work in the field of science, practical health care, social and organizational activities, the call for a healthy lifestyle, focusing the attention of colleagues and patients for the importance of maintaining health creates a great example for the young generation of scientists and doctors.
