Glinka - Evgenia Baldanov. For more than two decades, he continues his work far from his native Buryatia, successfully soloes on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theater named after D. Today, perhaps, there are no people among the Krasnoyarsk lovers of opera art who would not know the singer with the bright oriental appearance and voice of a special timbre. But, unfortunately, few people know about him in Buryatia.

To make up for this gap, I managed to agree with Maestro Baldanov on an interview. The leading soloist of one of the most famous musical theaters in Russia, in the repertoire of which there are all the main parties written for the lyrical tenor, kindly agreed to answer our questions, the answers to which turned out to be very sincere. At the beginning of the conversation, I asked the opera singer to tell about his origins, small homeland, parents.

He asked if there was a craving for singing his ancestors. Mom is an elementary school teacher, and dad is an engineer. Such a standard Soviet family. Parents did not have a musical education. But her mother had a cherished dream that her son would become a singer and sang on stage. Given the fact that I became a singer, my mother’s dream came true! Which school did you study at?

Were they a grain-boy or, conversely, a disrupted? Did you go in for sports in childhood? Therefore, I can be called a happy child: I had my own corner! I will not say that I was somehow different from my peers in studying, but to play outdoor games on the street - football, skates, hockey and a bicycle - I preferred more. And the English language that was taught to us was enough to communicate abroad when we had to tour with performances, and not only.

As a child, I was fond of many. For example, swimming. The pool was then located on Babushkin Street, now it is a business incubator - a funny name. And nearby, in the Palace of Pioneers, test tennis was engaged in the road. The photo was also fond of - then there were only black and white photos and film. Then there was a onion firing at the sports club of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

He reached the level of the first adult category, he did not go further. And, of course, the first music school named after Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Here I studied for seven years. Why did you study at the conductor-chorov, and not at the vocal department?

Who was your teacher? I was then 15 years old, and due to a mutation of a breakdown of the voice, which is at the age of transition, it was decided to get a musical education at the conducting department. So I got into the class of Lyudmila Viktorovna Noble. The class teacher of the group was wonderful Tatyana Andrianovna Vasilieva. After he graduated from the school as a Korovik conductor, it was necessary to choose where to go in order to increase the musical level in a higher educational institution.

Having studied a year at the conductor’s department, he returned to Ulan-Ude: I was not left for a dream to become a singer. We immediately developed warm friendly relations and mutual understanding. And there, except for the subject "vocals", there was nothing more. There was no opera training, dance, foreign languages ​​and many items that are not very useful after the conservatory.

But at that time I did not know this and rather wanted to comprehend them. I decided to take a chance to go to the West, as they said then, and entered the Novosibirsk Conservatory M. Glinka, to the classroom to the honored artist of Russia, professor Vladimir Afanasyevich Prudnik. When he arrived in Krasnoyarsk, they invited, and more than once, even as a singer for the competition of oriental beauties.

But since then, apparently, a lot has changed. Somehow the connection with the diaspora has been lost. And, as one elderly fellow countryman -brown, more often young people gather on the fraternity, and this, so to speak, is the work of the young, and we, he said, is not very interesting to them - with their family affairs, worries. I think not everyone can gather at such events, especially families.

By the way, in Ulan -Ude a magnificent theater, built specifically for the opera, in compliance with all the requirements of acoustics - a domed roof, galleries. It is very nice to sing there - the voice flies, returns, a very beautiful sound. If they were invited to Ulan-Ude again to sing or take part in a new production, he would have happy to come and perform.

But moving to permanent residence is a big question. And I answer myself: my life is fate! Honestly, I am satisfied with my life. This is in my understanding happiness! I sing and delight the viewer. On the day when I have a performance, I am really happy. There I met people of different professions and nationalities. There were different concert venues - from schools, lyceums to royal scenes.

But one binds them - that which clap and accept artists everywhere the same way is warm and sincere, ”said Evgeny Baldanov.And I caught myself thinking: it is far from accidental that our interviewer is from the roots - from the Dzhidinsky village of Ulzar, where the People's Artist of the USSR Dugarzhap Dashiev was born. This means that not only in the sunlit by Italy and Spain, but also in the harsh conditions of Siberia and Predbaikalia, even once a century, but the kids kissed in a theme by God are born - endowed with a unique singing gift - such as Evgeny Baldanov, a bright star in the opera sky.
