At the same time, he led a modest way of life: he woke up early, walked with a dog every morning, performed jogging, and went to Citroen, which was not the most popular in Russia. I know that he sincerely respected Ernest Naumovich Serebrenikov, and Yuri Albertovich Rozanov considered the best Russian commentator. They will have something to talk about in heaven ...

In recent years, we have been united by love for children and youth football. Genousov, on pure enthusiasm, brought the FC “City” created by him and like -minded people to a very high level. Suffice it to say that one of his pupils performed in the professional league of Estonia, and the Vyborzhanin secondary school now takes fourth place in the High League of the city youth championship, which is rightfully considered the best amateur football tournament of St.

Petersburg. In his career there were two cup finals U. The other, in Om year, won. The mind is incomprehensible! Today, in the civilian, a memorial service will be held here. And this also does not fit in his head ... He was an emotional, modern mentor. He could not indifferently monitor the events on the football field, understood football better than many referees and, apparently, so after the games he often discussed with them.

In his last winter championship of St. Petersburg, nerves could not stand it-on February in the game with Kolomyagi he was removed from the field.

Maybe it was precisely the unjust decision that was the last blow to the worn heart? Once he admitted to me that a heart attack on his feet. He didn’t save ... Leonid Borisovich did a lot for the Zenit football club: at first, in the role of a journalist close to the club club, it was difficult to imagine that in the nineties he was the only one who made a program about St.

Petersburg football! By the way, it was Genusov who suggested Vitaly Leontyevich Mutko to establish a year as the date of education of the club, and, therefore, thanks to him last year, we celebrated the tidy of Zenit. Alas, in the Om year of Genousov and Zenit’s paths, they dispersed, although, in my opinion, Leonid Borisovich’s knowledge and his ability to communicate with football people could be useful “Zenith” to this day.

But then, with the advent of Sergei Alexandrovich Fursenko and the followed by a large -scale reorganization of the club, headed by Genousov, the international department was abolished. And they did not find any other application of his experience. I took part in the program - and now I sincerely regret that not as often as Leonid Borisovich invited me. I will always be endlessly grateful to fate for bringing me to this amazing person.

We argued, it happened, quarreled, but always converged in one thing - love for football and devotion to Zenit. I will carefully store common photographs, archives and his gifts-in difficult times for me, he, a senior comrade, took care of me in aratively. Today, our souls are still related: I am going with children to play shale, and his team will come to his coach.
