Stunning decorations were built - it turned out the village where we lived, burned bonfires, worked in blacksmiths, dried mushrooms, which were collected there, caught fish.

All this is very cute, original Russian. Costumes were sewn according to authentic samples. We were in an atelier, where the Cossacks still sews up clothes for himself. We were taught these costumes to wear correctly. The Cossacks even made me a small gift - the label belt on the hilt of cold weapons. The makeup was very interesting. Honestly, we love to chat between the frames. And even somewhere it laughs. My wife, Julia Bedareva, starred in the Cossack, she is a professional actress, works at the Tver Drama Theater. She has the role of Aniska, in this project we do not work in pairs. How did you work with him? I have been working tightly in the cinema for five years. And I understand that the work of the producer is huge, and for this, thanks to Serezha Svetlakov.

To collect all people, organize everything, convince you to give you money for this movie, to tighten all this, not to offend anyone ... to feed, drink, dress, put on. I can’t imagine how to do all this, so I am admired by the work done. Dogs bark - the caravan is coming. Cinema is shot, although it is very difficult now to receive money for good projects.

It’s easier to get money not that an evil, but on aggressive cinema. How much does this help you in the profession? What do you think, what does the director first pay attention to, inviting the actor to his project? Now a fairly type of movie. I think that the film director is primarily looking at the appearance - what impression you make. The movie is different from the theater, there is no time to study the image.

The first impression that you make on the viewer is most often preserved until the end of the film. I can’t give a characteristic to myself, I was taught to always run from this. But my type is a big man, good - if we talk about the eyes. If you want to be later, paint your eyebrows. With such workload, how do you restore strength? Is there a hobby that distracts and makes it happy?
