Biography of Firuz Salikhov

The film presents 15 dance productions shot in a modern style, including the classic of the Uzbek dance “Munozhaat”, “Tanovar”, “Larzon”. The production of films took 9 months. The project was attended by more dancers, about 50 musicians. The filming process lasted order of the clock. The premiere of the film "Legends of the Uzbek Dance" will be held on September 1. Rachmaninov was so inspired by the singing of Kari-Yakubov that he said: “What a pity that I cannot attend the premiere of the Uzbek opera.” Iceedora Duncan, after the performance of Tamara Hanum in Paris, went behind the curtains and asked the dancer to count her neck vertebrae and look at her hands.

Ruslan Saliev, the author of the script and director - for the entire BWG Production and the huge film crew of this film, were a large, sometimes difficult, but very exciting process.

The Uzbek dance is a special layer of our culture. This tape is intended for a wide viewer, we tried to tell it in a simple, affordable language in modern format. Of course, the world of Uzbek dance is so huge that you can shoot entire series, so many worthy, great people, ensembles, phenomena in this area that cannot be fitted at an hour. Our main task was to make a movie that would look easy and it could be demonstrated not only to our public, but also to the foreign viewer, because Uzbek dances are truly fascinating.

It was a long, difficult, multi -month, jewelry work, which, we hope to find its grateful viewer.

We put the soul and love into this project. Love for art, people and its identity. This is a special project for us. Kamran Tuychiev, sound producer - “Legends of Uzbek dance” - this is the titanic work of a huge team. It was a great honor for me to work on the film as a sound producer. We reacted with special trepidation to the recording of classical compositions, and also very carefully, but with great love we made a piece of our time.

Sound work was very painstaking and insanely interesting. We spent an inconspicuous number of hours in the studio with the masters of our craft and with the “trips” of national music. Uzbekistan is a treasury of talents and, I think, having watched the film, the viewer will be convinced of this, and the youth, it seems to me, will look at the legends of Uzbek dance in a new way.

This project is a whole life that we have lived. Elena Kari -Yakubova, project consultant, art critic - a proposal to participate in the BWG Production project, dedicated to the dance art of Uzbekistan, unexpected and very interesting. Work in a professional team, which director Ruslan Saliev managed to rally and unite around the idea - it was difficult and beautiful at the same time incredibly excitingly and very responsibly.

I was very impressed by his deep immersion in the material, the desire to find new interesting historical facts, an attentive and respectful attitude to sources. The idea of ​​the film to introduce the audience in a simple and affordable language with the history of the stage Uzbek dance is very relevant today. In order to move forward it is necessary to know the history, the origins of the origin and formation of modern dance art of Uzbekistan.

The purpose of the film is to talk about outstanding personalities who created and developed the Uzbek stage dance, gave their work not only to their native people, but glorified the art of Uzbekistan far beyond its borders. The legacy of the masters who have become a legend is a great example for creative youth. Of course, the richest history of Uzbek dance cannot be covered in a short time of the film, but for those who love and are interested in the dance culture of Uzbekistan, this journey into history, the opportunity to get acquainted with the main schools of Uzbek dance, and see modern dance groups.
