The biography of Kayuma Sepri


All his childhood passed here. The first teacher of Kayum Nasri was his father, then he continued to study in the Kazan madrassah, thanks to which he received a good education. Nasri studied different languages ​​- Turkish, Arabic, Persian, but he showed separate interest in the study of the Russian language. Having become a listener at Kazan University, he enriched his knowledge.

Information about the personal life of K. Setri in different sources differs. Some researchers write that his wife died during childbirth and he no longer married, others - that he preferred loneliness, so he had no family. Satya chose the work of the teacher. His first place of work is the Spiritual School in Kazan, then the Spiritual Seminary. Such an act as a passion for Russian culture did not find approval by the Tatar people, he was considered a traitor.

He was often called “Urys Kayum”, which means “Russian Kayum”. However, this did not prevent the philosopher from improving his knowledge. He read a lot of eastern manuscripts, the works of European scientists. In the same years, he began to work on his own works.

After this case, the philosopher devoted himself to scientific activity, according to the results of which the work “Book on Education” was created, which contains instructions for teachers and parents.

There are also several works that made an invaluable contribution to pedagogical science. Satya did a lot to bring together the Tatar people with the Russian, as he considered bilingualism by the heyday of the culture of the people. The enlightener created works on grammar, history, mathematics, hygiene, anatomy, physics, cooking. He sought to enrich the lexicon of the Tatars with new terms, making up dictionaries.

An important creation in this area is the book “The Fruits of Interviews”. In addition, the thinker was a folklorist and was interested in ethnography. He owns a collection of poems, fairy tales, sayings, rites and customs, which forms the basis of the Tatar people. The story "Abugalisin" was particularly popular in the society of ethnography, which the scientist was a member.

Its calendar contained not only dates, but also cognitive and interesting information, as a result of which it was called encyclopedic. Satya was interested in literary work. He wrote instructive stories, novels useful for children and adults. The thinker tried to create his works in a language close to the Tatar people. The philosopher died on August 20 due to poor health.

He was tormented by paralysis, with whom he could not cope even with the help of his own developed exercise system. The grave of the enlightener is located in the cemetery of the Novotatar settlement. The thinker lived in the house of a relative until the end of the days, where he occupied two rooms. He had a large library. In the year, in this structure, the House Museum Kayum Nasyri was opened.
