In anticipation of the concert, we met with the musician and talked about his attitude to the Grushinsky festival, about the duet with Gleb Samoilov, about the new video and much more. How did everything go, what impressions have remained? Regardless of what time of day we stood on schedule, the audience received us very warmly, and the organization did not disappoint.
It is felt that Stympentia already has a serious status. Special thanks to our fan club, they came to the invasion with banners, actively supported us. It is especially pleasant that this is their initiative, we did not order anything, and even more so they did not betray anything to them. I know that some groups have such a sin. Everything happened to us spontaneously.
In fact, it is very cool that the fan club comes up with everything, organizes everything and each concert prepares such surprises for us. And each time this is something new, and you need to be prepared. In order, for example, not to forget the words if the guys arrange something funny. Its main theme still remains the author’s song? Or is the format still changing? It is the way that the rock and roll festival should be.
An atmosphere of unity reigns there, any conflict situation is peacefully "is resolved." And by the way, we have any festival, except perhaps the invasion, will envy such a number of visitors. Some of my familiar rock musicians, having learned that I was going there, began to say to me with a kind of reproach: “Haha, you are going to Grushinsky to bards, sweaters and mosquitoes.” But when I told them how many people are there and how everything happens at all, they fundamentally changed the opinion of this event and now, probably, partially envied.
On the one hand, there are a lot of genres: the author’s song, and rock and roll, but the party is all joint. In total, these days I spoke on different scenes about fifteen times-somewhere one, somewhere together with Alexei Khomchik from the group "Carrying Goodness". And this, by the way, is not a record. There were those who played and more. There is some kind of very strange tradition regarding scenes.
I understand that they have been fixed in decades, and have nothing to do with the genre orientation. There is a main scene, there is a children's scene. There is a scene of the "Teahouse", I can’t imagine what should happen on it. But I know that when you are standing on the site “Children's Republic”, the “Children's Republic” is written under your feet, and you are all in black “Figat” the song “Ghouls” from the repertoire of “Stampfonia”, you are a rather extravagant spectacle.
The fact is that the audience has changed. Someone, of course, moved with us from the stage to the stage, but basically the audience was new. And each time I had to play as the first to make an impression. In a word, this festival left me incredibly positive impressions. Of course, there is one small nuance - I cannot take part in the competition there, because my father, of course, has a certain weight at this festival.
Philip's father is a famous performer of the author’s song Oleg Mityaev - approx. And if I apply for the competition, it will look ugly, how not to twist. You will win-they will say that the father somehow influenced. You will lose - they will say: “How dare you not give him the main prize? Therefore, only as a special guest. This year, Pasha Pikovsky from the Hugo group became his laureate.
I think absolutely deserved. But not because he is my good friend. Pasha is really a very talented guy. I remember, he told him: “Pash, you are also invited by a special guest. Why did you climb into the competition? Do you understand that you are not leaving a huge number of people? This is very ugly on your part. " When he played on listening, in front of my eyes a couple of people simply got up and left, apparently adjusting their strength.
By the way, I recommend the Hugo group. They made a song with Sergey Chigrakov, the leader of the Chizh and Co. - approx. Pashka has a song in the spirit of “Chizh” - if they, as they say, “come in”, then remain forever. Is there any symbolism in your emblem? Separate theses of such a thing as chaos are certainly close to us, for example, that chaos is a lot of chaos. But we do not need to consider us some occultists.
Do you like the aesthetics of this direction? From here, in fact, our name appeared. Then it became clear that, from the point of view of the musical, stage, theatrical genres, the work of the Steampfonia group belongs to the decadent. However, we already managed to go through the point of no return, the name was fixed, and it could not be changed. But I think that the upcoming clip lovers of steampunk will also have to go to the court.
How did your acquaintance take place? The Stampfonia group was no exception. After listening to our songs, Igor told me: “Listen, Phil. And let's write you and reduce you for free? I immediately began to look for a catch. In the meantime, he continued: “You know, from all the material that I have heard recently, yours seems to me the most original. In return, you will take me to the post of first guitar.
” But he is, in addition to everything, also a great guitarist. Well, how could I refuse?As a result, the KIV Records studio became a real house for Steamfonia - we rehearse and sign up there. Actually, I highly recommend it for advertising. What do you think they teach? And then a compromise decision was made - to make a “cover” on the existing song of Gleb Rudolfovich. I had a list of songs that I would like to sing, I brought it, and we chose the “Last Desire” by exclusion.
I will not hide, I really wanted to sing the song “We are under fire” from the repertoire of the group “The Matrixx”, but a clip was already released on it, and it would be somehow strange to shoot another. Gleb Rudolfovich wanted the new version of the “last desire” to be heavier than the original, which happened. He was satisfied with the result. For the song "Aquarium" "God, keep polarmen." Why was this song chosen and why?
I don’t even know what to do with it, but I often listen to him. It turned out very fun and fervently. I like. So I listen quite rarely the songs of Steamfonia. Of course, there is such a feeling, progress is visible. But I really like how our first album turned out. We set ourselves a very high bar, now we need to keep it. They have good creativity, I am familiar with him in great detail, and many of their songs know by heart.
In the cinema and computer games there is such a thing as “Easter”, and here in the songs of “Steamfonia” there are quite a lot of such “Easterns”, references to the songs of the team “A little nervous”. What kind of music did they play? She lasted four years. Everything was good, technically high -quality, but there was an lack of originality, as we tried to follow the format.
And then at one point I just freaked out and realized that I did not want to limit myself to some kind of framework .. and began to do everything from scratch. The songs “Goethe’s children” have nothing to do with the work of the Steamfonia group, but people remember them and often ask to fulfill them. Which I do at my creative evenings. True, I sing only those songs of “children” that fit into the concept of a concert program.
I don’t remember the details of the plot, to be honest. From the point of view of the genre, it was a folk, I already saw myself playing on a bagpipe. But, unfortunately, how I saw myself playing on a bagpipe, so I see myself. This has not yet gone further. Did they change throughout life? I don’t have this at all.
