In August, the team returned to the recreation center to them. The twentieth anniversary of Victory, and in the fall S. Volchkovich leaves to serve in the army. The next year, V. Zhelenka, S. The basement became warm, clean and spacious, with a separate bathroom and good sound insulation.

Also, at the end of autumn, the Nota cooperative was registered, which gives the right to professionally engage in concert activities. Then, in the team, the light operator Alexander Baldin began to work. On the waves of the "Belarusian youth radio station" they successfully twisted the song of the group "There are no other people's wars." Despite the shortage of paper, posters and tickets were printed.

Not the most successful was the beginning of the professional activity of the team. As soon as the group went beyond the Mozyr region and few people heard about the Paradox group. For the first three months, the musicians practically engaged in self -promotion, speaking in the district centers of the Gomel region. If, before perestroika, Soviet rock groups fought for peace and ecology on the planet, then in crisis time the texts began to reflect social stress.

All the rockers were locked doors. But the case helped out. The then leader of the Komsomol members of the Gomelshchina, Vladimir Tretyakov, invited musicians to speak disinterestedly at a concert dedicated to the successes of the Komsomol. After this speech, on the recommendation of the regional committee of the Komsomol, the group began to invite the trade unions of the enterprises of Gomel and the region.

The Paradox Group has become pleasing to the authorities. In addition to guaranteed concerts at various professional holidays, the young team continued to work on tickets. In the late autumn of the year, the new leader of the Komsomol organization Vladimir Karasev invited the Paradox group to perform at the Rock Festival in the city of participants and guests there were famous groups: "Hyperboloid engineer Petrov" G.

By tradition, the New Year has always been celebrated together. But a little more than a day after the festive feast passed and the musicians learned that Yuri Nikitenko died on January 2 of the year. The ambulance only stated death from suffocation. This terrible event put the very existence of the group in question. During January, they urgently searched for the guitarist.

The choice fell on a graduate of the Mozyr Musical School of Alexander Belsky.Almost daily, in a cramped room for storing tools, in the restaurant "Suzorya" a concert program took place. In addition, they did not extend the lease agreement with musicians and evicted the Paradox group from the premises of the recreation center. A room was offered in the library room next to the reading room.

This did not suit the musicians and at the end of spring the group broke off relations with the MZMM union. At the end of April, the Paradox group acts as an honorary guest at the festival of amateur groups of the Dobrushsky district. At this concert, Sergey Shafarenko debuted as a light operator, who replaced the updated composition of the Paradox group called up for the service of the Soviet Army, gradually establishing concert activities.

In parallel, work on new material was going on. In the middle of summer, S. Volchkovich leaves the group. The drummer became Valery Bondarchuk, and a separate soloist Pavel Shevchuk. The skillful work of rhythm sections and powerful vocals, natural artistry and the crazy dynamics of the soloist made the group performances very vivid and spectacular. Confirmation of this was the first place at the Friendship 90 international festival.

Unfortunately, in this composition the team did not last long. Big problems in creativity led to the inevitable collapse of the group at the beginning of the year. But in the spring of the year V. Bondarchuk introduces V. Kudryavtsev with Eduard Mikhailov. He immediately revived the dormant creative plans of the musicians.

In the inheritance from the property of the group, in addition to the tools, they got a truck. No one had a driver’s license and decided to sell a truck and record the musical material of the Paradox group on the proceeds. I did not have to go far. At that time, in Mozyr there was the best in Belarus the studio of the recording "Art - Studio". There was enough money for the recording and fluent information of only seven tracks, but it is this record that will be the beginning of the new story of the Paradox group.
