Sergey Mikhalkov was born on March 13 in Moscow. Mom’s name was Olga Mikhalkov Glebova, by education a teacher and a nurse. Sergei Mikhalkov was repeatedly elected to the deputies of the Supreme Council. The poet’s political career haunted many of his contemporaries, they believed that he made it only thanks to the ambitious to the authorities. In this marriage, two sons of the writer were born - Andrey Konchalovsky and Nikita Mikhalkov. Andrei became a famous director and screenwriter, wears the title of People's Artist. Nikita also became famous as an actor, screenwriter and director, has a similar title.
The personal life of Sergey Mikhalkov changed 9 years after the death of his wife. He married Julia Subbotina, daughter of Academician Subbotin.
