Full name Alexander Viktorovich Kutikov. Born on April 13 in Moscow. The family of the artist, Sofya Naumovna, performed as part of a gypsy ensemble under the control of Kemalov. He left the family when Sasha was still a child. Grandma, Glikka Isaakovna, worked as a chief accountant. Childhood, at the age of seven, Sasha and his mother had to move from a four-room apartment in patriarchal ponds to a room in a communal apartment.

Nevertheless, the family made sure that the boy would develop comprehensively. Young Kutikov graduated from a music school, knew how to play the pipe, alt and saxophone, and at the age of fourteen he began to master the guitar. In addition, he was engaged in boxing, hockey and football. After school, Sasha entered the Moscow Radio Mechanical College, but quit his studies and got a job as a sound engineer at the radio committee.

Kutikov planned to enter the Faculty of Journalism. However, in the summer of the year, he received an offer to go with the Time Machine Group to the southern tour, which the young man had made exams instead of passing. The team just left the bassist Igor Mazaev, he was drafted into the army, and Alexander agreed to replace him with pleasure. After those tour, the musician became part of the "Time Machine".
