Vera Davydova, as expected, married another person in the year, her eldest for 20 years. But with Tchaikovsky they have always been close friends.

Vera helped Tchaikovsky in his creative plans and arranged the necessary acquaintances. This is the first cycle of plays for the piano of Tchaikovsky. His hobby flashed in the fall of the same year. In the spring of the year, Milyukova wrote a letter to Tchaikovsky with a declaration of love. Tchaikovsky answered her, and they had a correspondence. Tchaikovsky at this time was in search of a suitable bride.

His future wife had to be just his friend and be condescending to his unconventional orientation. Crazy in love with Antonina Milyukov seemed to the Tchaikovsky "suitable party." This was his main mistake - Tchaikovsky and Milyukov saw a joint future differently. Tchaikovsky made Milukova an offer after several weeks of correspondence and 2 personal meetings.

Nadezhda von Meck Tchaikovsky and von Mecc was connected by many years of friendly correspondence. They never met. Nadezhda von Meck was rich, but at the same time smart and perspicacious.

She sought to help young musicians and artists. Tchaikovsky’s work was especially interested in von Meck. She ordered him musical work for which she paid good money. After some time, von Meck offered Tchaikovsky her constant material support. It was a monthly pension, which von Mecc regularly sent Tchaikovsky. The correspondence of von Meck lasted about 14 years and broke off suddenly.

Nadezhda von Meck experienced material difficulties. She wrote Tchaikovsky that she could not send him money as before. Tchaikovsky tried to resume correspondence. This upset Tchaikovsky, as he could not understand the reasons for its cooling.
